Henrietta Thompson, former design editor of Wallpaper* – now its editor-at-large, has held senior editing roles at TANK, Blueprint, Dazed & Confused, Winkreative and Phaidon and is a truly prolific writer and editor on the topics of creativity and sustainability.
She has also collaborated with designers, commissioning new products to explore emerging themes in the wider world. Passionate about the potential for the creative industries to create real change, Henrietta also holds much expertise and experience in the luxury industries and writes regularly about architecture, art, design, business and travel for several publications internationally including the Guardian, Business Life and Dwell.
She has commissioned and curated several exhibitions both in the UK and abroad, including the currently touring Everything Forever Now exhibition of sustainable design for the British Council and consults on design and strategy for a number of well-known luxury brands. She is the author of five books, most recently Remake It Home, published by Thames & Hudson. Remake It Clothes, the sequel, will be published in August 2012. She’s also working on a new exhibition around the theme of Digital Downtime and is inspired by design that makes the world a better and/or more beautiful place.
